TOHONO O’oDHAM 76TH RODEO and FAIR BRINGS FAMILY AND FRIENDS TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE

The Wild Horse Race climaxes at the Sells 76th Rodeo and Fair in Southern Arizona Saturday, Februrary 1st 2014. The nation’s oldest All-Indian Rodeo crowd watched the Felix Cruz Team saddle up a wild horse
and take it for it’s first ride winning first while Team Cowboy Dreamers (in background) take second. Thousands of spectators filled the Silas R. Hendrick Rodeo Arena during the Tohono O’odham’s four day event featuring Toka Tournaments, Pow Wows, Chicken Scratch Bands and a carnival Midway.Traditional dance and song was celebrated by groups attending the event from all over the South West.
